It is with great sadness that the Queen Sirikit Museum of Textiles announces the cancellation of Inside Out/Outside In: Clothing, Cloth, and the Meeting of Cultures, due to the passing of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej on 13 October and the official year-long mourning period. We deeply regret this necessity and ask for your understanding during this very difficult time.


>> Please be informed that Friday, 21 April 2017 is the last day to claim your airline ticket refund due to the cancellation of the symposium ‘Inside Out/Outside In: Clothing, Cloth, and the Meeting of Cultures.’
The documents and bank information MUST be submitted via no later than the indicated deadline, otherwise the Queen Sirikit Museum of Textiles will no longer be able to process the refund.

Conference and tour registration fees will be fully reimbursed to your credit card or returned to your bank. In addition, those who have bought non-refundable plane tickets, or will incur fees in cancelling, rescheduling, or modifying their flights will be compensated. Compensation will also be available for those who have bought plane tickets with the intention of attending the symposium but have not yet registered. Please see below for the procedure. For those who have used frequent-flyer miles to secure tickets, please contact the conference organizer.

Those who have made reservations at the conference hotels should contact the hotel directly to cancel their reservations. Reservations at either hotel may be cancelled without penalty prior to 30 November. We are currently in discussion with the hotels about extending the special conference rate to those who still wish to come to Bangkok during the conference period. Please contact CDM directly for more information.

  • Copy of your original confirmed flight itinerary (including the relevant fare rules)
  • Copy of the confirmation of your flight cancellation or change, and the receipt for all charges
